Screening for Developmental and Behavioural problems in school environment

Under the school health services regular health checkups are being conducted inside the school premises. Our services aim at early identification of health problems in school children with special focus on the adolescent girl child.

We have conducted,

1. Health screening for 350 children in Lady Nye High School.

2.Hepatitis B Vaccination and Screening for Behavioural and Learning issues for 150 children in Seva Samajam Children’s Home in the same campus. A one day workshop for slow learners with focus on exam going students was also conducted in the same premises.

We are planning to conduct similar screening programs in health and learning in the nearby schools.
