Nesavidhya – Center for Child Development & Early Intervention is a unit of Perinatal Research Foundation. It came into being in 2013, dedicated to the prevention of developmental delays and disabilities from birth to 18 years, with Dr.S. Mangayarkarasi , former Director of ICH & Hospital for Children as a Managing Trustee and the Director. It helps children by offering physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, special education services, behavior therapy, developmental therapy. Our approach is focused on Nutrition, Positive learning experiences and Supportive parenting .

The team of Nesavidhya comprises of the Developmental Pediatrician, child development consultant, pediatric physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, child Psychologist and genetic counsellor. Appropriate cross referrals are made to other superspecialist as per the child’s needs. The team adopts an interdisciplinary approach in assessing and managing children with special needs.
